Professional Profile

Eric has over 15 years of experience in technology management and consulting, and he has extensive experience with financial services, IT Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, technology risk assessment, IT security, business continuity planning, and IT Governance.  

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Huron, Eric led the Technology Risk Management Practice for the Washington DC/Baltimore/Richmond region of a global consulting firm, identifying needs and supervising the delivery of service in a number of industries, with a majority of his work in Financial Services, Healthcare, Education and Retail organizations.

Previously, he worked as a Technical Program Manager at NBC, leading efforts to deliver news content using technology.  He was also an Engagement Manager at Arthur Andersen, where he scoped and oversaw efforts to identify and mitigate IT risk within organizations across the country.  He began his career in the Air Force, designing and deploying secure networks at overseas locations. 

Eric has deep technical skills in security and networking, and he has been able to apply that understanding to identifying and solving business problems throughout his consulting career.

Some of Eric’s notable consulting experiences include helping to build the streaming audio network for XM Satellite Radio, performing security assessments for Credit Agricole and its 175 partner organizations, building the Business Continuity Plan for American Capital, and performing Risk Assessments for a number of financial services and retail organizations.
