Abstract
Despite working for the same organization, business units often approach contracting from different perspectives, relying on different systems and processes. Exploring ways to adopt innovative ideas deployed by other organizations is an essential component of moving toward a cohesive approach. A defined set of agreed-upon business objectives that encompasses the entire enterprise can be used to determine where investment in innovation will have the most significant return.
