Huron’s Diversity & Inclusion Council provides leadership with the framework and resources needed to allow Huron and its clients to realize the benefits of a diverse and inclusive organization. One way we foster this is through employee resource groups, known as iMatter teams. These teams work directly with the Council to identify strategies that enhance diversity and foster inclusion, while creating a greater sense of community within the company. Giving back to the communities in which we live and work is in our DNA. Our philanthropic program, Huron Helping Hands, consists of civic sponsorships, community service work, pro bono activities and a matching gifts program. Our activities are a combination of employee causes the company supports and corporate-led events.
In May, we held our 5th Annual Day of Service. More than 1,400 Huron employees participated in 94 projects within 86 organizations in 55 locations around the globe. Employees logged more than 4,300 service hours to these organizations — ranging from interacting with more than 600 children through play and tutoring, to preparing, serving, and/or bagging more than 19,000 meals.
