About Alida
Alida has more than 37 years of healthcare industry experience in nurse and executive roles, with a focus on emergency medicine and healthcare education. She works with academic health centers, multifacility health systems, medical practices and rural hospitals to improve the patient and employee experience.
Throughout her career, Alida has led initiatives to help providers transform their culture and care operations. She has worked with organizations to achieve inpatient satisfaction above the 82nd percentile, employee satisfaction in the 95th percentile and physician satisfaction in the 96th percentile. Her efforts have enabled organizations to grow emergency department volumes by more than 60% and reduce employee turnover, resulting in over $4 million in savings.
Prior to joining Huron, Alida was vice president of nursing and education for The Sullivan Group, where she was responsible for nursing oversight into electronic medical systems and providing emergency nurses with educational credit for taking emergency medicine online courses. She has also served as director of both emergency services and clinical education for Provena Mercy Center. For 15 years, Alida managed the Advocate Good Samaritan Emergency Medical Services System.
