For over 17 years, Ben has helped organizations strategically navigate corporate restructuring, turnarounds and bankruptcy. His clients have spanned a variety of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, retail, transportation and logistics, airline and healthcare.
Throughout his career, Ben has helped leaders identify and address financial and operational challenges to maximize value. His financial and operating experience includes the areas of project management, strategic planning, financial modeling, 363 sales, constituency relations, negotiations, and operational process improvement. As a financial adviser, he helps his clients prepare and execute business plans, optimize cash flow budgets, drive negotiations with current and prospective lenders, resolve vendor payment disputes, achieve maximum creditor recovery, and manage liquidity.
Before joining Huron, Ben worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and FTI Consulting. While there, he provided crisis management, turnaround and bankruptcy services to both debtor and creditor clients.
Ben holds a Master of Business Administration in finance and security analysis from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in government from Cornell University. He is a certified turnaround professional (CTP) and certified insolvency and restructuring adviser (CIRA), and serves as a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
