Caitlin is a Director in Huron’s healthcare practice. She has an expansive health policy background, working both in the federal government and directly with health care providers. Caitlin has worked extensively with executives at large, integrated health systems across the country to educate and advise boards of directors, executive leadership teams, and physician groups around legislative and regulatory payment policy developments. She has partnered with these stakeholders to ensure successful participation in ongoing payment models as well as strategic and operational preparedness for the evolution of the healthcare landscape. Caitlin is a frequent writer and speaker with a focus on the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) Quality Payment Program and value-based payment models.
Caitlin has several years of experience working with providers specifically in the value-based care space. Prior to joining Huron, Caitlin was Director of Health Policy and Strategy for the Health Management Academy, where she was the subject-matter expert on value-based payment programs, including the MACRA Quality Payment Program, Accountable Care Organizations, and bundled payment models. Caitlin has consistently served as a thought leader and educator for a wide audience of healthcare leaders. She serves as a primary resource to health system executives on specifics of payment models and regulations, as well as strategic guidance ahead of key organizational decisions.
Caitlin also has several years of healthcare experience in the federal government, working both in the intelligence community and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to advise the White House and other senior leaders on a variety of public health issues of strategic importance.
