Chris advises Huron’s energy and utility clients on ways to better manage and analyze performance. He collaborates with clients to develop performance road maps and business process improvements, as well as implement enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise performance management (EPM) and business intelligence solutions in planning, budgeting, forecasting and modeling.
Throughout his career, Chris has:
- Served as the lead financial process and technology adviser for a major utility organization’s transformation efforts, collaborating with the management team on merger and acquisition integration, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) reporting and chart of accounts design, process design for budgeting and forecasting processes, allocation design, and project accounting and reporting.
- Led enterprise performance and budgeting initiatives for multiple energy clients, overseeing systems implementation and process redesigns to enhance organizations’ corporate, workforce, capital and project planning.
- Led a multiyear enterprisewide finance transformation project for an automotive services company, which included the creation of a finance road map, current-state process review, future-state process design, and implementation of new ERP, EPM and business intelligence systems.
- Managed a multiyear enterprise finance transformation project for one of the world’s largest private companies, where he designed the future-state budget, forecast, planning and consolidation processes.
Chris is a frequent speaker at technology and finance industry events. He started his career in corporate finance and then spent time in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ process reengineering group.
