- Functioned as the nonlabor project director and perioperative lead at a newly formed three-hospital system, including an academic medical center, a community hospital and a children’s hospital in the southern region, which generated $29 million in nonlabor savings against a $22 million goal and $5.7 million for the perioperative team against a $2.1 million goal.
- Led the perioperative work at a Midwest academic medical center, where she was successful in generating $4 million in savings against a $13 million nonlabor target.
- Managed the perioperative team for a large Boston-based system, established a systemwide value analysis program and achieved overall savings goals by implementing $3.3 million in spine implant savings.
Prior to joining Huron, Christina served as vice president of consulting operations for a national group purchasing organization (GPO) and was responsible for the program development, sales and implementation of physician preference item (PPI) projects. She began her nursing career as a staff nurse in perioperative services at Boston Children’s Hospital before serving in the roles of assistant nurse manager at Mount Auburn Hospital and perioperative nurse manager at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
