Jean applies more than two decades of experience working as a nurse in a level-one trauma center and a nursing executive to create high-quality healthcare systems that engage patients and employees. She guides organizations through strategies to increase patient and family perceptions of care, enhance safety and improve quality outcomes.
Throughout her career, Jean has:
- Led a 40-bed intermediate care unit’s patient experience scores from the 50th percentile to greater than the 90th percentile.
- Improved quality results for unit HCAHPS scores from 0 of 8 domains to 5 of 8 value-based purchasing benchmark of 90th percentile over three quarters.
- Implemented a skin assessment that decreased pressure ulcers from 15% to zero and maintained zero pressure ulcers for three years.
Prior to her time at Huron, Jean was an administrative director at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She is a current member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE).
