Judy is a nurse executive with extensive experience in both clinical practice and business operations. She specializes in supporting healthcare organizations’ leadership development, nursing practice, clinical operations and workforce management.
Judy is an experienced nurse executive with an extensive background in clinical practice and healthcare business operations. She has worked across tertiary, community, nonprofit and acute care settings to help organizations strengthen their leadership structures and transform care delivery.
Judy leads Huron’s Nursing capability team, overseeing a group of consultant nurses with deep clinical experience. Throughout her career, Judy has helped healthcare leaders identify opportunities to drive financial performance by improving their workforce, supply chain, clinical and revenue cycle operations. She has led initiatives for rural and community hospitals, multisite facilities, and academic health centers, generating savings of up to $30 million. Prior to joining Huron, in addition to serving as a Nurse Executive, she has been an operational leader of ancillary services, such as cardiovascular services, respiratory therapy, pharmacy and physical and occupational therapy.
Judy also leads Huron’s Service Line capability team, using her years of personal clinical experience working within cardiovascular and neuroscience service lines, acute care nursing, and organ transplant services.
Judy is involved in multiple industry associations, including the American Nurses Association, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and Sigma Theta Tau.
