About Pauline
Pauline brings more than three decades of front-line nursing experience to her work with healthcare organizations, guiding them through clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and clinical education initiatives. She specializes in helping leadership teams benchmark their CDI programs and use data to build an internal culture that emphasizes continuous quality documentation improvements.
Pauline has worked across community hospitals, large health systems and academic health centers for over 17 years, overseeing CDI project execution, designing new CDI processes and facilitating culture change. Throughout her career, she has led CDI initiatives that have generated more than $10 million in client benefit. She has also overseen the development of numerous educational tools and resources to aid healthcare providers in their CDI transformation efforts.
Pauline served in the British Merchant Navy as a senior fleet nursing officer for the Cunard Shipping Line, where she organized healthcare for passengers and crew. She is a member of multiple industry groups, including the United Kingdom Nursing Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the Association for Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists and the American Health Information Management Association.
