Skip has more than 30 years of experience consulting across the healthcare industry, guiding community hospitals, academic health centers and multi-hospital systems through transformative performance improvement, revenue cycle and technology initiatives.
As a managing director in Huron’s healthcare business, Skip has guided a spectrum of healthcare clients, including community hospitals, academic health centers and large multihospital systems, through performance improvement efforts. He specializes in helping healthcare organizations across the country implement revenue cycle solutions to increase efficiency, enhance quality and drive tangible financial benefits.
Over his 30-year career, Skip has led:
- Dozens of revenue cycle performance improvement efforts for both hospital and physician billing operations.
- Many strategic information technology planning, system selection, procurement and implementation efforts for a diverse set of healthcare providers.
- Multiple planning, design, implementation and ongoing operations of a program management office (PMO) function to help providers navigate multiyear technology transformations.
Skip joined Huron when it acquired Stockamp & Associates in 2008. Prior to that, he was vice president of First Consulting Group, where he led the firm’s project services group — a team of over 350 associates in the U.S. and India focused on delivering healthcare advisory, implementation and application support services.
