Integrating Operational And Strategic Planning With Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service
The ideal enterprise planning process is comprised of two key components. The first component, operational planning (12-24 months), works with low levels of detail and focuses on P&L. The second component, strategic planning (3-5 years), uses more aggregate data and concentrates on P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Planners should use tools which are purposely built to solve the unique challenges presented by each of these processes. They must also understand that these processes are inextricably linked. The technologies which companies select to help forecast their futures must be included in an integrated platform, designed to understand that both short and long-term planning share data. Updates to the short-term plan must update the long-term plan in real time and vice versa.
Oracle has recently released Strategic Modeling (SM) as part of EPBCS. Join this webcast to learn how EPBCS and SM enable companies to achieve best in class enterprise planning.
