As Ohio University was transitioning to a Responsibility Center Management (RCM) budget model, its leaders realized that many internal processes and divisions were going to undergo increased scrutiny, including Information Technology. Huron Education was asked to review the university’s IT operation, looking specifically at organizational structure, governance, and customer engagement.
This case study details the approach to analyzing Ohio’s IT structure, breaking it down, and creating a new structure that will better fit the needs of the university.
