University of Utah and VCU Integrate DocuSign with Huron Research Suite
The University of Utah (Utah) and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) are the latest institutions to integrate DocuSign with Huron Research Software – improving compliance tracking, relieving administrative burden and streamlining document workflow.
To simplify and consolidate its business processes, Utah recently integrated DocuSign with Huron Agreements, as well as VCU, which integrated DocuSign with its Huron Grants system. The electronic signature technology and digital transaction management service helps facilitate the exchange of contracts and signed documents.
By integrating DocuSign with the Huron Research Software, both Utah and VCU were able to reduce manual and time-consuming steps while toggling between the different applications. This integration saved each institution time and effort, helping increase productivity.
Utah went live with its DocuSign implementation to track Institutional Review Board (IRB) reliance agreements with partner institutions in February 2018, and VCU went live with DocuSign in December 2017. Both are already seeing benefits. Administrative staff are saving time and effort since they can monitor grants and contracts directly within the Huron Research Suite and no longer need to upload documents into two separate systems.
Integrating DocuSign is just one of many solutions Huron offers to help facilitate communication and collaboration while relieving administrative burden and streamlining workflow.
