David has nearly two decades of experience advising and leading client implementations across many industries, with a focus on education and research. He lends his expertise to support transformation efforts across various institutional offices, including finance, information technology services (ITS), sponsored programs, clinical trial and billing, institutional review boards (IRBs), safety committees, export control, research compliance, university compliance, animal care and use committees (IACUCs), and animal resources centers.
Throughout his career, David has:
- Led a program transformation initiative for a leading academic medical and cancer center, resulting in improved cross-functional alignment, sustained deployment stabilization, and enhanced institutional reporting through standardized data practices.
- Directed the development of a multiphase Huron Research Suite implementation for one of the largest U.S. tier-one research (R1) universities, resulting in prioritized deployments, streamlined integrations, and a strategic framework for institution- and solution-level reporting.
- Established a new research office structure for a private academic medical center, resulting in clearly defined operational roles, enhanced communication and training delivery, and successful, on-schedule vendor implementation.
- Managed an organizational, functional, and technical transformation initiative for an Ivy League research university, resulting in the successful launch of an integrated pre-award system to achieve the highest returns on the university’s investment and actionable process improvements across the research offices.
