Jason is a technology leader and founding member of Huron with more than 20 years of experience managing large-scale projects, implementing enterprise systems and developing strategic plans. He specializes in helping universities use technology to fulfill their institutional mission.
About Jason
Jason is an IT leader with two decades of experience leading enterprise technology initiatives related to strategic planning, financial modeling, budget development and vendor management. He has extensive experience managing large-scale projects and leading teams responsible for planning, designing and implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise performance management (EPM) and business intelligence solutions.
Throughout the course of his career, Jason has:
- Led a multicampus public university through technical and change management efforts to stabilize its financial, human resources and research enterprise applications.
- Helped numerous institutions optimize their IT governance frameworks.
- Guided multiple research universities through their implementation of PeopleSoft grants, contracts, projects, billing and receivables modules.
- Developed administrative technology strategic plans for several institutions, providing a framework for systems selection and improving distance learning offerings and funding strategies.
Before rejoining Huron in 2016, Jason spent more than 10 years at Northwestern University, where he was responsible for portfolio management of the university’s budget, finance, procurement, research, facilities, data warehousing and reporting, and alumni enterprise applications. He transformed the university’s financial systems and fundamentally redesigned its chart of accounts, as well as user security and transaction approval workflow.
