Throughout his career, Chris has:
- Led an institutionwide strategic planning process for a midsize private university, resulting in a focused five-year road map designed to elevate the institution’s rankings, fundraising potential, and long-term reputation.
- Guided the creation of a five-year strategic plan for a professional school at an Ivy League university, working with the dean and a steering committee of faculty and staff to establish a distinctive, market-aligned future vision and identify goals and initiatives to guide organizational activity.
- Directed a business planning effort for the launch of a new school of nursing and health sciences at a leading private college, addressing strategic, operational, and financial implications of the new school and developing a road map for implementation.
- Developed a growth strategy for the health portfolio at one of the largest online universities in the U.S., shaping the five-year trajectory of the institution’s health-related academic offerings and a national expansion strategy for the university’s nursing programs.
- Supported the development of a growth strategy for lifelong learning at a midsize private institution, working with the president, chief financial officer, academic leaders, and faculty to articulate the vision and identify the path to a $25 million lifelong learning portfolio.
- Facilitated a systemwide strategy to expand the use of alternative credentials across a major public university system, engaging leadership across the system and member institutions to assess current activity and identify an action plan of near- and long-term initiatives and investments.
- Led an organizational efficiency and effectiveness assessment for a midsize private university and affiliated academic medical center, identifying over $5 million in annual efficiency opportunities across various functional areas.
Prior to joining Huron, Chris served as a consultant at Eduventures Inc. in Boston, where he advised clients across the education landscape, including universities, nonprofits, education vendors, and investment firms.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Bentley University.
