About Pam
With three decades of experience in patient care, medical staff relations, and nursing administration, Pam brings front-line perspective to her work helping healthcare leaders create positive change in their organizations. She has a comprehensive hospital background, having served as an emergency department and critical care nurse as well as a nursing administrator, that informs her efforts to help leaders, physicians and nurses deliver better service and achieve operational excellence.
Pam joined Huron in 2000 as one of the firm’s first coaches, and has spent 20 years guiding healthcare organizations to increase patient and staff satisfaction while reducing turnover and improving quality metrics. She is a talented speaker and facilitator who strongly believes that today’s healthcare leaders must have expert communication skills to build interprofessional relationships and must be open to feedback aimed at helping them continually improve. Pam has presented in front of healthcare teams and industry associations across the country on topics related to change management, leadership communication and nursing engagement.
Prior to joining Huron, Pam was a nursing administrator at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, where she was integral in helping the organization achieve its Magnet designation.
