Patrick is a managing director at Innosight, Huron’s strategy and innovation business. He has more than 30 years of experience helping healthcare organizations develop and improve long-term strategies (enterprise, business unit, and functional), governance and operating models, and consumer/patient experience, as well as helping identify and secure joint ventures, partnerships, and acquisitions.
About Patrick
Patrick advises and collaborates with executive teams to deliver complex and high-impact projects in the healthcare sector, including healthcare payers, providers, and investors, as well as financial services and private equity firms. His experience includes strategy development, consumer strategy, operating model and governance design, rapid profit improvement, merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, new market and product strategies, and operational performance improvement.
Throughout his career, Patrick has:
- Led the development of a 10-year strategic plan and operating model for a major Southwest regional health system to better meet the health and well-being needs of a growing population and improve the health system’s market position.
- Developed the consumer growth strategy for a large regional health system to improve its share in focus consumer segments, extend consumer relationships through the development of new digital products, and enhance the overall patient experience across the system.
- Developed a high-performing local market joint venture between two large multiregional health systems to improve care delivery and patient outcomes by harnessing the best of both local capabilities.
Prior to joining Innosight, Patrick held partner and managing director positions at PwC Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) and Navigant Consulting (now Guidehouse), advising healthcare clients on key strategic issues. He also has extensive experience living and working in Europe as both a consultant and private equity across numerous industries.
Patrick earned his Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
