She specializes in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and human capital management (HCM), finance, student, procurement, budgeting and planning, project portfolio management (PPM) and business intelligence.

About Jessie

For more than 20 years, Jessie has helped college and university leaders re-imagine, plan, execute and sustain transformation across enterprise resource planning (ERP), student, financial and human capital management systems. As both a consultant and a higher education officer, she has spent her career helping higher education institutions unlock the benefits of cloud enterprise technology.

Throughout her career, Jessie has helped her clients maximize the benefits of their cloud transformation by conducting strategic planning, resource planning, portfolio management and business analysis, and by optimizing and aligning business processes to create efficiency. She has also helped many college and university leaders navigate the shared services organizational model, wherein clients strike a balance between local services and commoditized practices and activities. She also specializes in project management and mobilizing successful change management across complex university systems and governance structures.

Jessie draws from a wellspring of Oracle technology functional and technical expertise amassed over two decades of higher education client work. Her experience spans Oracle Cloud applications, including student, HCM and ERP solutions, and Oracle PeopleSoft, including campus solutions, human capital management and financial solutions. Because of her unique perspective on the leading strategies and product developments that Oracle has to offer, Jessie can help her clients build platforms that support future applications and ongoing business transformation strategies.

Before joining Huron, Jessie served as a consultant specializing in higher education ERP implementations and integrations. She also served as the chief information systems officer at California State University for nearly a decade, where she led the strategic direction and the implementation of centralized ERP business and student applications for the California State University System (CSU). The CSU remains the largest public university with 23 campuses. For five years prior, she served as director of information technology for the J. Paul Getty Trust, managing ERP systems, including PeopleSoft, software development, data warehouse and business intelligence.

Jessie is a member of the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) and the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). Over the years, Jessie has frequently served as an expert on panels and forums, including annual conferences for HEUG Alliance.

Jessie holds a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University.
