Alex provides operational technology expertise to higher education clients to optimize processes and implement systems, enabling them to reach and exceed institutional goals and create streamlined user and student experiences.

With deep expertise in CRM solutions, including Technolutions Slate, Alex has led implementations, assessments, and advanced configurations that span the student lifecycle. He advises institutions on how to evolve from siloed operations to enterprisewide CRM adoption, ensuring that sales conversations translate into long-term institutional value. His focus extends beyond technical execution to designing governance models, building adoption strategies, and shaping road maps that deliver measurable return on investment. By combining market insight with enrollment strategy, Alex helps institutions realize efficiencies, expand capacity, and improve experiences for both students and staff — results that translate into sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

Throughout his career, Alex has:

  • Designed and managed the first Slate technology practice in higher education, directly impacting the growth of a cottage industry of preferred partners.
  • Led dozens of implementations spanning all institution types, resulting in streamlined processes and efficiencies across organizations.
  • Developed and facilitated curriculum for end users of Technolutions Slate at the corporate and individual campus level.

Prior to joining Huron, Alex most recently served as senior vice president for relationship development at RHB and has held other roles at Technolutions and as a government contractor and manager at cSRA.

Alex earned his Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University.
