About Alima
Using her experience developing new and innovative solutions, Alima provides operational expertise to healthcare clients to execute large-scale transformation, enabling them to achieve financial success, meet their strategic vision, and deliver against their clinical mission. She facilitates education and visioning sessions with health system executives to help define priorities and create a road map that balances near-term priorities and long-term goals. Alima has worked at clients across the U.S., ranging in size from $400 million to $6 billion net patient revenue (NPR).
Throughout her career, Alima has:
- Led the integration and transformation office that facilitated the post-acquisition integration of a 1,000-physician practice into the health system faculty practice, retaining 99% of physician contracts and executing against all key performance indicators for Day 1-readiness.
- Overseen an 18-month financial health transformation of a $6 billion NPR public health system, resulting in over $200 million in recurring financial benefit.
- Directed the development of an innovation office at a $2 billion NPR academic health system, driving the evaluation and execution of over 100 priorities for the health system and providing leverage to clinical and executive leadership.
Alima started her career at Stockamp & Associates, which was acquired by Huron in 2008.
Alima earned a Bachelor of Science from Duke University. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). She volunteers with the Food Bank of Eastern North Carolina.
