Amanda has over 25 years of experience helping transform organizations across the healthcare industry. She is passionate about working with organizations to implement change management and performance improvement programs that increase overall quality of care, enhance patient safety and minimize care variation.

About Amanda

Amanda’s nearly three decades of diverse healthcare experience serves as the foundation for helping clients become high reliability organizations, improve accountability and drive better patient outcomes.

Throughout her consulting career, Amanda has helped numerous organizations on the road to zero harm through performance improvement, change management and care variation reduction programs. She has led engagements across a range of organizations, including academic health centers, national health systems and rural hospitals.

Prior to joining Huron, Amanda served as the director of quality and patient safety for a large eight-hospital system. In this position, she was responsible for the overall improvement of quality of care, patient safety, value-based purchasing, the error reporting system and execution of Just Culture. She also has a background in hospital restructuring and benefit realization from nonrevenue generating departments.

Amanda holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, and has nursing professional development and nurse executive board certifications. Her clinical background is in critical care, cardiology and homecare.
