With over 18 years of senior finance leadership, Cindy has driven transformation across some of the nation's most prominent nonprofit, for-profit, and private-equity-backed healthcare organizations. Her experience includes leading multibillion-dollar system finance functions, executing large-scale integrations and platform migrations, securing capital and credit rating stability, and delivering hundreds of millions in annual performance improvements through revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Throughout her career, Cindy has:
- Led large-scale financial turnarounds and operational transformation, consistently achieving cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives valued at hundreds of millions annually.
- Secured millions in financing and executed complex merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, including debt issuance, joint ventures, acquisitions, and system integrations across multistate health systems.
- Directed enterprisewide finance operations and system implementations, building high-performing teams and transforming finance functions into transparent, accountable, and service-oriented organizations.
- Acted as a trusted adviser to boards, investors, and rating agencies, consistently securing favorable credit ratings and outlooks while aligning governance, compliance, and fiduciary oversight with organizational strategy.
Prior to joining Huron, Cindy served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Beth Israel Lahey Health. She has also held the roles of market chief financial officer and vice president of oncology at Beaumont Health and market chief financial officer at Yakima Regional Medical & Cardiac Center. She has served as chief financial officer of multiple other healthcare institutions.
Cindy earned a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University and a bachelor’s degree in business management and accounting from Whitworth University.
