About Eddie

For nearly 20 years, Eddie has guided companies undergoing financial transformation in the automotive, industrial, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries. He frequently serves in an interim management capacity, including chief financial officer (CFO) and chief restructuring officer (CRO), along with independent board of director roles. Eddie’s experience includes financial reporting, financial planning, liquidity and treasury management, capital advisory, and finance talent optimization. His work emphasizes practical solutions that strengthen processes, improve financial visibility, and leave durable tools in place for long-term success.

Throughout his career, Eddie has:

  • Served as interim CFO for a $1 billion private-equity-owned global automotive supplier, leading the global finance function and deploying value creation initiatives across planning, reporting, and strategic operations.
  • Served as a financial adviser to a $400 million Tier 1 automotive supplier through a restructuring and sale process, implementing a comprehensive turnaround plan under severe liquidity constraints and complex lender negotiations.
  • Led a strategic operational turnaround for a $1 billion public automotive manufacturer, driving product rationalization, footprint optimization, and organizational benchmarking initiatives.
  • Served as interim chief financial officer for a $160 million privately owned automotive supplier, overseeing accounting, finance, and treasury operations while leading a refinance with senior debt-holders and stabilizing liquidity.
  • Served as interim CFO for a $210 million private-equity-owned transportation provider, overseeing accounting, treasury, and liquidity management while leading a contentious refinance with senior debt-holders.
  • As interim CFO, directed recapitalization and financial transformation efforts for a $150 million private-equity-owned insurance technology business, overseeing finance and treasury operations and strengthening capital structure.
  • Acted as interim CFO for a $200 million privately owned nationwide tire wholesaler, leading finance and treasury functions and implementing a companywide revenue enhancement and cost transformation plan.

Prior to joining Huron, Eddie served as managing director at MERU and Riveron, where he led financial and operational transformation engagements and established the Office of the CFO service offering. He has been recognized multiple times by the M&A Advisor, including the Distressed Deal of the Year Award.

Eddie is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.

Eddie graduated from Michigan State University with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. Eddie is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Michigan.
