Elizabeth leads performance improvement projects across clinical operations, patient access, and revenue cycle as well as advising and implementing virtual care and patient engagement strategies. Elizabeth’s expertise as an adviser is deepened by her experience leading patient access and revenue cycle functions for a large health system.
Throughout her career, Elizabeth has:
- Managed the growth of 20 home hospital programs from implementation through stabilization and ongoing program expansion, leading to over 50% growth in customer admissions year over year.
- Led financial clearance for an $8 billion system to ensure all scheduled cases are financially cleared prior to service, inpatient cases are authorized promptly, and patients are transitioned to the appropriate level of care.
- Reduced no-authorization write-offs by over $500,000 a month, resulting in over $6 million in annual savings.
- Managed patient throughput improvement initiatives in hospitals varying in size from 250 to 900 beds, resulting in length-of-stay reductions of up to 10% and $5 million in value to clients.
Prior to joining Huron, Elizabeth served as vice president of strategic market operations at Medically Home, where she was responsible for the operations and program growth of all active customers. She also held the role of director of patient access at Northwestern Medicine, where she had oversight for physician referrals, hospital operators, and financial clearance for the health system.
Elizabeth earned a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.
