He has led mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and comprehensive integration planning and implementation for health systems.

About Jason
Jason provides M&A, integration, change management, and transformation expertise to healthcare organizations to identify, convey, and plan for expectations, enabling them to drive and accelerate successful outcomes.
Throughout his career, Jason has:
- Led multiple, comprehensive integrations for a large, not-for-profit health system, resulting in $1.6 billion in net recurring synergies. Key areas of focus included revenue cycle, culture, operating model, pharmacy, IT, labs, human resources, managed care, clinical growth, and labor.
- Co-led the development of a new culture for a regional health system and academic medical center, resulting in a new mission, vision, and values that linked to engagement and performance.
- Developed and led a quality improvement project for a not-for-profit health system, resulting in a 40% reduction in patient harm events, a 20% reduction in hospital readmissions, and 139,000 fewer days of antibiotic therapy use.
Prior to joining Huron, Jason served as senior vice president of enterprise integration at Advocate Health, where he led multiple integration efforts. He held additional leadership roles at Atrium Health (now Advocate Health), including assistant vice president for managed and affiliated health systems and director of patient safety. Prior to Advocate Health, he held leadership roles at the American Society of Anesthesiologists and American College of Cardiology, focused on healthcare policy, transformation, quality improvement, practice management, and federal legislative and regulatory lobbying.
Jason earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University.
Jason is a fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He serves on the Master of Health Administration advisory board for Queens University, where he also serves as adjunct faculty, teaching health law and ethics. In addition, Jason has a passion for coaching youth sports, primarily soccer.
