Lisa provides strategic communications and philanthropic strategy expertise to healthcare, higher education, and other nonprofit clients to develop communications strategies, build brand identity, elevate donor engagement, accelerate philanthropic growth, and boost campaign success. With a career spanning communications, marketing and branding, and philanthropic operations, she helps organizations build the internal capabilities and donor experiences that power sustainable growth.
Throughout her career, Lisa has:
- Directed the brand positioning strategy for a major academic medical center, producing integrated multimedia campaigns that humanized the brand, broadened awareness and reach, built trust, and supported key joint ventures and partnerships.
- Led philanthropic communications and stewardship strategy for a $675 million campaign, expanding staff capacity by more than 50% and establishing a first-ever stewardship team as well as an events team.
- Designed and executed donor communications strategies for a $380 million campaign, helping advance donor engagement and increase brand awareness and surpassing campaign goals by nearly 30%.
Prior to joining Huron, Lisa served as senior vice president at GG+A, which was acquired by Huron in 2024. She also held multiple leadership roles in brand management, donor relations, and development at Rush University System for Health. Earlier in her career, she served as executive associate director of marketing communications at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Lisa earned her Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kansas and an associate’s degree from Harrington College of Design.
Lisa is a member of the American Association of Medical Colleges Group on Institutional Advancement, the Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development, and the Chicago Women Leaders Association.
