About Matthew

Matthew collaborates with providers, payors, and investors to shape the future of care delivery, access, affordability, and experience. While his deepest focus is in healthcare, Matthew has led transformation efforts across multiple industries, from global automakers reimagining mobility to consumer goods reinventing their portfolios.

Throughout his career, Matt has:

  • Led the enterprise strategy development process for one of the largest provider systems in the Mountain States, resulting in market entry into a new state, multiple facility acquisitions, and the exploration of an integrated delivery network with a major payor.
  • Directed an enterprise transformation initiative for a top three national health insurer preparing for a multibillion-dollar merger, board-level recommendations, the launch of a new consumer business unit, systemwide customer experience upgrades, and accelerated adoption of value-based care.
  • Developed a healthcare venture strategy initiative for a top 20 U.S. private company, resulting in the creation of a $600 million fund and the client’s first strategic investments in digital health and services.
  • Led an enterprise strategy initiative for a top two U.S. automaker, resulting in C-suite alignment on core priorities and new growth bets, and contributing to a 30% increase in market capitalization over five years.

Matthew began his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising Department of Defense clients on strategic planning, acquisitions, and long-term capability development. He joined Innosight in 2013 and held successive roles, from senior associate to partner, for over seven years. He stepped away to help build and scale Alloy Partners (formerly High Alpha Innovation), a venture studio that launches startups in collaboration with corporations, universities, and governments. Matthew rejoined Innosight in 2025.

Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he was a Tauber Fellow focused on strategy and operations. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science, with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies, from the University of Notre Dame.
