Nancy is a healthcare leader with more than two decades of experience helping organizations from critical access and community hospitals to large academic health centers better meet the demands of today’s healthcare environment.

About Nancy

Nancy has more than 25 years of healthcare industry experience in front-line and leadership roles, from bedside nursing in the intensive care unit and evaluating hospital quality to nursing research and project director. She specializes in building relationships with staff and leadership, empowering healthcare teams with methods to improve quality, safety and lasting change.

Throughout her career, Nancy has led a range of initiatives that helped provider organizations enhance the employee experience. With her guidance, organizations have been able to decrease voluntary turnover from 22% to 15% and improve nurse communication benchmarks from the 13th percentile to the 40th percentile in one year.

Prior to joining Huron, Nancy developed and directed a patient experience department where she improved HCAHPS overall rating of care from the 53rd percentile to the 78th percentile in less than two years. She also served as a Pathway to Excellence document reviewer for the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizing organizations for creating outstanding work environments for staff.
