Rich has more than 30 years of leadership experience as a management consultant in the healthcare industry, working with payors, providers, academic health centers and integrated delivery networks to strengthen performance. He has led a range of initiatives helping organizations rethink and redesign their revenue cycles, supply chains, cost management practices, decision support systems and workforce processes.

Throughout his career, Rich has overseen performance improvement efforts that have generated up to $10 million in net revenue. He has led numerous technology selection and implementation efforts, including a medication administration and verification system for a $400 million major subspecialty hospital, as well as proprietary and vendor systems for data warehousing, cost accounting, health care decision support, budgeting and case mix systems.

Prior to joining Huron, Rich was a partner at Computer Sciences Corporation where he guided clients through the selection and implementation of large-scale enterprise applications including clinical, operational and financial systems. Previously, he served as a regional partner at EY for 20 years where he was responsible for serving the Pacific Southwest healthcare payor and provider markets with performance improvement, IT and financial services.

Rich is also an adjunct professor of finance at the University of Southern California (USC). He is a frequent guest lecturer and speaker at USC, Cornell University and various regional professional associations, hospital boards and local academic executive programs.
