About Sambamurthy

Sambamurthy has worked closely with global healthcare clients for more than two decades on successful organizational planning, contract negotiations and team development, strengthening the employee and client experience. He has led large-scale, end-to-end implementations for large hospitals and care providers, including advisory, application, infrastructure and operations services, such as healthcare analytics.

Over the course of his career, Sambamurthy has:

• Led a digital transformation initiative for a large, New York-based health system, automating the discharge process and improving patient experience and the contract management process.
• Implemented an eDischarge mobile application for a leading hospital in New York.

Prior to Huron, Sambamurthy served as healthcare senior director at Cognizant Technology Solutions. He held the role of vice president of property and casualty insurance delivery at Majesco, a software solution business. Sambamurthy also served as senior manager of systems integration and technology consulting at Deloitte and lead systems engineer at Tata Infotech.

Sambamurthy holds a Master of Business Administration from ICFAI University and a bachelor’s degree in electronics from Mumbai University. He co-authored a white paper on an integration solution for the drug, discovery and development life cycle to help pharmaceutical companies cut down clinical trial costs.
