Steven is a higher education leader with over 20 years of industry expertise. He is passionate about improving higher education access, affordability and the student experience.

About Steven

Steven is a higher education leader with more than two decades of experience in university admissions, academic services, information technology (IT), financial aid and enrollment management. He is a senior director in Huron’s education business focused on student lifecycle solutions.

Steven is dedicated to improving access to higher education, making college more affordable for all students and helping institutions innovate the student experience. Over the course of his career, he has led a variety of strategic efforts for institutions across the country, from developing data-driven student retention strategies to managing student success efforts as part of broader enterprise technology implementations.

Prior to Huron, Steven spent more than 16 years at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, most recently serving as vice provost for enrollment management where he was responsible for ensuring a competitive, well-prepared class and a successful undergraduate student experience. He has also served on the board of The Common Application and the Higher Education User Group (HEUG).

Steven is a frequent speaker at higher education industry and trade publication-sponsored events, where he presents on the intersection of admissions, technology and student success.
