Tammy has more than a decade of experience in the healthcare space as an executive, pharmacy subject matter expert and change agent. She is an advocate for patient-centric care who helps health system leadership build solutions to improve financial performance and day-to-day operations.
Throughout her career, Tammy has advised hospital executives, clinical and business leaders, medical and support staff and vendors to optimize pharmacy services and enhance patient access; collaborated on initiatives to enhance quality, operational efficiency and revenue enhancement; and mobilized partners to carry out functional solutions for optimized patient care. She has specific expertise in product development, specialty pharmacy program strategy and operations, 340B regulatory compliance, site of care strategies, supply chain optimization, process improvement, team management, revenue cycle analysis, pharmacy billing and finance.
Prior to joining Huron, Tammy was a senior vice president for Visante Inc., where she was responsible for strategic direction and oversight of the firm’s 340B, specialty pharmacy, revenue cycle and site of care consulting services. Previously, Tammy was a senior director for Caret Inc., where she developed an oral oncolytic therapy management solution to optimize the clinical and operational management of oral chemotherapy.
Tammy was also the specialty pharmacy manager of the University of Michigan Specialty Pharmacy, one of the first health system specialty pharmacy programs. She was also a member of the founding management team for DirectRx, a privately held corporation with specialty, mail-order and retail pharmacy services.
