Todd has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare performance improvement and operational transformation, working with academic, nonprofit, and complex health systems to strengthen revenue cycle, clinical operations, and integrated performance.

About Todd

Todd has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, leading assessments and implementation projects to identify process improvement opportunities and measure their impact across patient service, technology utilization, employee experience, and financial and operational performance.

Todd has overseen or participated in more than 110 engagements ranging from community hospitals to large academic medical centers. He has deep expertise in revenue cycle, clinical operations, integrated performance improvement, and rapid implementation models such as acute care at home.

Across his career, Todd has:

  • Led an 18-month complex integrated performance improvement engagement for a tri-entity academic medical center (about $1.3 billion) in New Mexico, delivering more than $100 million in annual revenue enhancements and expense savings, spanning revenue cycle, clinical documentation improvement, workforce management, supply chain, and pharmacy improvement.
  • Co-led a 14-month full scale performance improvement initiative for a flagship academic medical center (about $1.3 billion) in Kentucky, producing over $65 million in annualized recurring savings across academic and clinical growth and supply chain optimization.
  • Directed a nine-month performance improvement engagement across a four-facility healthcare system (about $1.1 billion) in New England, resulting in $85 million in annual savings and revenue enhancements.
  • Developed and led a multiphase assessment and implementation approach for a 53-facility national Catholic healthcare system (about $13.2 billion) in the Midwest, enabling long-term revenue streams.
  • Designed and executed integrated assessment approaches for multifacility health systems, including a $1.5 billion three-facility system in Philadelphia and a $2.5 billion 11-facility system in the Midwest, both completed on aggressive timelines and leading to subsequent large-scale implementations.

Todd is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in education and geosciences from The Pennsylvania State University.

Todd is a Penn State alumni volunteer and college fair lead representative. He fundraises annually for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.
