With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, William has led large-scale workforce and operational transformation initiatives across hospital, post-acute, senior care, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare development settings. His work integrates predictive analytics, compensation strategy, enterprise technology enablement, and process improvement to help organizations manage labor volatility, improve compliance, and elevate workforce engagement.

He brings deep experience in workforce analytics, budgeting, system implementation, and operational redesign, with a focus on translating complex labor data into actionable executive decisions. His approach emphasizes measurable results, disciplined execution, and leadership alignment.

Throughout his career, William has:

• Led enterprise workforce optimization initiatives for large integrated delivery networks, delivering more than $500 million in cumulative client savings through labor analytics, predictive modeling, and compensation strategy redesign.
• Overseen billion-dollar labor operations and performance management functions for a 30,000-employee post-acute and senior care organization, achieving multimillion-dollar annual savings through labor budgeting, compliance oversight, and enterprise system implementation.
• Directed large-scale workforce analytics and labor cost management programs, integrating AI-enabled tools and workforce planning models to improve financial performance and operational stability across complex healthcare systems.
• Led technology selection and implementation initiatives across multiple enterprise platforms, aligning workforce systems, payroll, and performance management tools to support improved labor visibility and accountability.

Prior to joining Huron, William served as senior vice president within the workforce consulting division at Vizient, where he focused on workforce optimization and labor cost management for large health systems and integrated delivery networks. Earlier, he served as vice president of performance management and strategic applications at Extendicare, overseeing enterprise labor operations, compliance, and system implementations across post-acute and senior care settings. His background also includes senior leadership roles in specialty pharmacy, respiratory management, home health, healthcare facilities development, and project management consulting.

William holds a Bachelor of Arts in organizational development from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and project manager, with advanced proficiency in Power BI, analytics, and platforms such as Workday, UKG, Oracle, ADP, and Strata.

William is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the Association of Productivity Specialists.
