Jim has more than 35 years of healthcare operations and consulting experience. He currently leads Huron’s healthcare business and previously served in leadership roles for the firm’s healthcare market teams, performance improvement and information technology service lines.

Jim has more than 35 years of demonstrated success working with healthcare organizations to transform their businesses. He specializes in supporting healthcare leaders through performance improvement, strategic planning, business process improvement and information technology initiatives.
Throughout his career, Jim has led over 75 performance improvement engagements for hospitals, health systems, academic health centers and physician groups, including redesigning and streamlining workflows, policies, procedures, metric reporting and dashboards; implementing technology applications; and training client personnel. These projects included results of one-time and ongoing financial improvements of $20 million to $100 million and $20 million to over $200 million.
Prior to joining Huron, Jim was an executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Apria Healthcare. Previously, he led BearingPoint Inc.’s (formerly KPMG Consulting) healthcare segment, including all services the company provided to healthcare providers, payers, military treatment facilities and healthcare-related federal agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Akron.
