About Nicole
For more than 15 years, Nicole has helped leading healthcare providers across the country transform their revenue cycle. While much of her work has focused on complex multifacility providers, she also helped many clients design and implement leading-practice enhancements in large academic medical centers, public sector hospital systems and physician practices.
Nicole is passionate about helping healthcare clients achieve their operational goals. Throughout her career, she has helped clients streamline revenue cycle processes, enhance revenue realization, accelerate cash collections and improve interdepartmental communication to generate measurable, sustained cash flow and income statement improvements. Working across a range of strategic operation areas, including patient access, health information management, revenue integrity and patient financial services, Nicole has helped her clients drive measurable results and meaningful change, sometimes serving in an interim leadership capacity.
In addition to helping her clients with strategic planning, Nicole also empowers them to drive sustainable revenue cycle cost transformation through change leadership. By lending organizations a deeper understanding of their total revenue cycle cost comparability, she helps her clients develop meaningful implementation plans to reduce cost while protecting and enhancing revenue. Nicole specializes in optimizing organizations’ span of control and organizational design, helping her clients drive strategic workforce leadership alignment across systemwide healthcare operations and maintain stable operations through conversions.
Before joining Huron more than 12 years ago, Nicole spent three years as a consultant with Stockamp & Associates, which was acquired by Huron Consulting Group in 2008.
Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Washington and Lee University, and she is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM).
