About Rudy
Rudy is a healthcare leader more than two decades of industry experience in clinical care, operations management, staff development and quality improvement. He works with leaders and staff across care settings to develop the skills needed to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Throughout his career, Rudy has helped drive measurable change in the healthcare organizations he supports. He has led efforts that resulted in improved patient experience scores for 25 medical practices, resulting in Magnet designation. He specializes in guiding teams to establish goals and processes that expedite access to care, improve internal referrals, decrease staff turnover and reduce patient no-show rates.
Prior to joining Huron, Rudy was system director of outpatient nursing at Texas Children’s Hospital, where he led the clinical practice and directed quality and staff development for over 50 multispecialty clinics and diagnostic and therapeutic services. He has also served as an inpatient leader responsible for acute care operations, patient flow, patient experience and staff development.
Rudy is a member of multiple industry associations including the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses.
