In Brief
Contrary to popular belief, the success of any M&A journey doesn’t end with final approvals and signatures. The real success of an M&A transaction is determined by the newly merged company’s ability to successfully execute on the integration projects in the months and years that immediately follow and is arguably the most difficult part of any deal. No two mergers are exactly alike, and having greater visibility into combined company performance early in the process will allow leadership to make more impactful decisions sooner rather than later.
The bottom line is a well-orchestrated M&A integration will create greater shareholder value than that of the average market deal.
