Jeff Dixon

Jeff brings 20 years of experience in higher education administration and research. He helps education institutions harness customer relationship management (CRM) technology to transform the student journey and alumni experience and drive efficiency in university operations.

With students and alumni placing as much value on the digital experience as the in-person, higher education institutions need to innovate at the scale of the leading commercial brands.

About Jeff

Jeff brings his experience leading CRM innovation to a broad spectrum of higher education institutions. He has overseen implementations across the full student life cycle — from recruitment and admissions, through student success and advancement — as well as innovative use cases like corporate relations and student health. Jeff’s experience in digital transformation helps executives make strategic technology decisions that guide long-term institutional success.

Across his career, Jeff has:

  • Provided strategic leadership to Salesforce’s largest student success implementation with a major state university, resulting in the institution’s first campuswide approach to student advising, coaching, and one-stop services.
  • Led an award-winning Salesforce Health Cloud implementation with a large Jesuit university to provide unprecedented collaborative approaches to student health.
  • Enabled a global nonprofit education provider to standardize admissions processes across four continents and launch an efficient digital application experience.

Prior to joining Huron, Jeff served as business strategy director at Salesforce Professional Services. He previously held the role of vice president of education at Traction on Demand and served in a variety of leadership roles, including associate director of Salesforce at Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

Jeff is finishing his doctorate in digital strategy from Queen’s University, where he also earned a Master of Science and a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, he holds a master's degree from Tyndale Seminary.

Jeff is an alum member of the Salesforce Higher Education Advisory Committee and the founding leader of Canada’s first Salesforce Higher Education User Group. He volunteers with Joe’s Music Instrument Lending Library, a local nonprofit.
