Maggie has more than a decade of experience optimizing revenue cycle operations and management at major health systems and academic medical centers across the country. She specializes in operating model design and implementation, business office integrations and health information system (HIS) conversions, as well as patient access and patient financial services.

About Maggie

Maggie has implemented and led revenue cycle performance improvement and system optimization initiatives to advance financial and operational performance for major health systems across the United States. Through process redesign strategies and technological enhancements, her clients achieve substantial financial benefits and dramatic improvements in patient service and physician satisfaction. She has specific expertise in patient access, point-of-service collections and patient responsibility, coding/health information management (HIM), billing, collections, information system conversions and vendor management.

Throughout her career, Maggie has:

  • Served as the interim vice president of revenue cycle at a Midwest health system, where she led an Epic health information system (HIS) conversion as well as an integration with a larger health system.
  • Delivered leading-practice revenue cycle design, testing and training strategies for a large medical center Epic implementation, resulting in significant financial and operational risk mitigation and accelerated stabilization to baseline performance levels.
  • Led an HIS conversion engagement at a large California health system focused on risk mitigation, accounts receivable (A/R) liquidation, and system optimization.

Maggie previously served as a manager of revenue cycle planning and analytics at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), where she led projects related to the merger of Insight Imaging and CDI, vendor management, and the development of financial models and key analytics leveraged to develop payor strategies.

Maggie is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Maggie holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and Spanish from Bates College.
