About Matt
Matt is a technology and consulting leader with more than two decades of expertise helping institutions across the education, nonprofit and public sectors transform their technology operations to drive innovation and growth. He specializes in leading organizations through IT strategic planning and program management, as well as refining their IT governance models, organizational structures and digital transformation efforts.
Matt leads the IT strategy team for Huron’s education business, overseeing initiatives for public and private universities, community colleges and academic health centers.
Over the course of his career, Matt has managed teams responsible for IT assessments and strategic planning at multicampus higher education systems, universities with over 45,000 students and community college districts supporting more than 100,000 students. He works closely with IT staff and administrative leadership teams to identify their most pressing technology challenges, benchmark performance against industry peers and create plans to elevate IT operations and performance going forward.
Prior to Huron, Matt served as national managing partner, technology, of a national finance and technology consulting firm, where he led the delivery of IT strategy services to mid-market companies across industries. Matt started his career at Accenture, leading large-scale system implementations and strategic consulting engagements for public sector organizations.
Matt has delivered guest lectures on technology and consulting topics at the University of Maryland and George Mason University. He is also an avid supporter of Huron’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
