Michael has over 20 years of healthcare industry experience as a provider, investment banker and consultant. He collaborates with healthcare organizations to design and implement performance improvement initiatives that ensure sustainable financial success.

About Michael

Michael has more than two decades of healthcare industry expertise as a practicing pharmacist, investment banker and consultant. He works closely with healthcare leaders to reengineer revenue cycle operations and pursue performance improvement initiatives that enhance net revenue, cash flow and operating margins.

Michael specializes in healthcare information systems and application development, third-party payor processes and business process outsourcing. At Huron, Michael’s responsibilities include leadership of the firm’s physician revenue cycle and revenue integrity solutions.

Over the course of his career, Michael has led performance improvement initiatives across a range of healthcare organizations, including rural hospitals, multispecialty medical groups, academic health centers and large integrated health systems. His efforts have helped clients achieve up to $40 million in improved cash flow.

Michael was previously a consultant at Stockamp & Associates, which was acquired by Huron in 2008. He has also worked in the healthcare investment banking space and as a practicing pharmacist. He is a member of multiple industry associations, including the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
