About Michael

Michael provides digital transformation and data analytics expertise to clients across many industries to optimize performance and turn data into actionable insights. He specializes in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data and analytics application design, and implementation, including defining, developing, and implementing enterprise information management solutions. Michael has hands-on experience in all facets of multitiered application technologies and is a skilled analyst, developer, tester, and systems integrator.

Throughout his career, Michael has:

• Served as lead architect for the enterprise transformation team at a public research university in Florida to create an enterprise data analytics and reporting environment in Microsoft Azure and Power BI, including an enterprise data lake house, machine learning models, and analytics dashboards.
• Led the implementation and design of an analytics platform for an academic research organization. The research platform was deployed in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Fabric, with predictive analytics solutions for student progression, post-secondary readiness, and student success risk.
• Served as principal lead for an enterprise data strategy transformation for a county’s public school system. The strategy shifted legacy data management and warehousing environments to cloud analytics and reporting architectures.
• Acted as principal architect for the overall credit risk and regulatory reporting for a U.S.-based multinational investment bank and financial services holding company. He designed and implemented solutions for the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and the Federal Reserve’s FR Y-14Q regulatory report to help measure and predict global commercial risk.

Prior to joining Huron, Michael served as chief innovation officer for Midtown Consulting Group, where he was responsible for strategic service delivery and developing innovative architectures for data, analytics, and AI solutions. He also held the role of chief executive officer for Envolve Consulting, where he built enterprise credit and liquidity risk analytics solutions for clients in the financial services industry. Additionally, Michael served as director of enterprise performance management solutions for Threshold Consulting, focusing on business intelligence and data warehousing consulting.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the University of South Florida. He is certified as a Microsoft Azure solutions architect, administrator, data engineer, and enterprise data analyst and as a Microsoft Fabric engineer.
