Selim has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry, supporting the sale, strategy, development and implementation of enterprise software applications for higher education, K-12 and government industries.
For nearly three decades, Selim has advised clients on cloud computing, data governance, business analytics, enterprise application integration and service-oriented architecture principles for numerous clients. He has specific expertise leading the creation of new service offerings for process optimization and developing business cases to enhance organizational output for large community college systems, private universities and government organizations.
Prior to joining Huron, Selim was the chief community officer (CCO) for Destiny Solutions Inc., where he developed strategies and policies for establishing and managing strategic partnerships. Previously, Selim served as the global solution architect for Oracle Corporation. In this role, he developed industry solutions across applications, technology and hardware and led the effort of co-development of the first verticalized mobile device management solution. Selim also has served as a senior technology solution consultant for PeopleSoft USA Inc., where he participated with education and government sales representatives in the preparation and execution of sales strategies for PeopleSoft prospects and customers.
Selim is a member of the Oracle Higher Education and Research Industry Strategy Council and Oracle Student Cloud Design Partner Program. He has spoken at nearly 20 industry conferences, including EDUCAUSE, WACUBO, CUNY IT Forum, Big Data Forum, HIUG and multiple events for Oracle and Alliance.
Selim holds a bachelor’s degree of business administration in management information systems from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
