Our report, "The Evolution of Learning Solutions in Higher Education," examines BRIDGE Coalition-commissioned research and evidence behind a sector that supplies much of higher education's instructional infrastructure. Once defined by textbooks, these providers now deliver adaptive courseware, assessment, analytics, accessibility infrastructure, academic integrity systems, faculty support, and AI-enabled learning tools. The evidence shows their value lies not in content alone, but in the integrated system built around it.

What our research shows

Debates about course materials often narrow to price, and debates about technology often reduce AI to disruption or replacement. Both deserve attention, and neither can be evaluated apart from quality, access, implementation, and outcomes.
