Chris leads Huron’s Financial Services Advisory business. He brings together the firm’s advisory, digital, managed services, and strategy capabilities to help financial institutions navigate disruption, modernize their operating models, and improve performance.
Chris specializes in translating complex strategies into execution. He aligns technology, data, talent, and governance to help clients strengthen risk management, meet evolving regulatory expectations, and improve sustainable profitability. He has led large-scale enterprise transformations and "fix the bank" programs, including major responses to regulatory enforcement actions and support for financial institutions implementing the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
Throughout his career, Chris has:
- Built a $70 million national financial services practice that achieved a 14% compound annual growth rate over nearly a decade, while leading global teams of more than 350 professionals.
- Advised executive teams through complex bank mergers, operating model redesigns, enterprise cost optimization efforts, and multiyear regulatory remediation programs.
- Helped financial institutions modernize risk and operational functions using automation, AI, and advanced data analytics.
- Developed scalable managed services models for traditionally labor-intensive compliance and operational functions.
Prior to joining Huron, Chris held senior financial services leadership roles at Ankura and Guidehouse. At Guidehouse (and legacy Navigant), he led the Banking, Insurance, and Capital Markets practice.
Chris is a frequent speaker and author on the topics of financial services transformation, risk and regulatory compliance, and change management. His insights have appeared in American Banker, Compliance Week, HousingWire, and other leading industry publications. He serves on the Executive Advisory Boards for the University of Mary Washington College of Business and the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
