About Dan
For more than 20 years, Dan has helped healthcare leaders and academic medical centers transform. Specializing in clinical trials management systems, clinical and revenue cycles, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications, Daniel has spent his career at the intersection of research, healthcare and technology transformation.
Throughout his career, Daniel has helped his clients evolve their people, processes and technology. He has helped numerous clients integrate and assess their Epic Research functionality with OnCore, optimize or re-imagine clinical trials management systems (CTMS), and implement new systems, including OnCore and Epic Research. He has led the delivery of transformational products and services, managing stakeholders across the enterprise.
Before joining Huron, Dan served as a consultant at the firms Arthur Andersen and BearingPoint. He also served as an implementation and training lead at Citation Computer Systems, a developer of laboratory information systems.
As a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Project Management Institute, Dan has frequented expert panels at various forums and national speaking conventions, including the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) Financial Research Administration (FRA) forum.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). He is also a certified PMP and a medical technologist, holding a certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
